This 1/37 scale white metal model is based on the Swiss Army 700AP Haflinger (Left hand drive.) P & M Ward of Lealholm (who were Haflinger dealers at the time) commissioned Gerald Gilbert of Somerset to produce this limited edition of 100 models. Gerald has a reputation for fine miniature work and has won medals at the Goldsmiths Council Awards. One of his better known pieces is the trombone played by ÎDouglasÌ in the Lurpak butter advertisement.
This model consists of 36 separate pieces, the original being hand-crafted in brass.
Extra materials required for their assembly are: 4 straight pins cut to 12mm.for the wheel axles, suitable model makers adhesive and paint.
It is entirely up to the assembler whether he attaches the hood or not.
Please note that this is a collectors model NOT suitable for small children and is available exclusively from Haflinger Technik.
